The arraignment of Vice President Sara Duterte in her grave threats case was deferred Friday, Sept. 11, as the court at Quezon City Hall continued to deliberate on a pending motion, one of her lawyers said.
Duterte’s lawyer, Atty. Paul Lawrence Lim, said the arraignment did not push through because the judge was still studying the motion.
He said the arraignment would remain deferred or suspended while the motion was still being considered and had yet to be resolved.
The court has yet to announce a new schedule for Duterte’s arraignment.
