Another batch of Filipinos repatriated from Israel has arrived in the Philippines on Saturday night, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said.
A total of 25 Filipinos, including 24 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and one child, landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 at around 9:00 p.m. aboard an Oman Air flight.
The group is the fourth batch of repatriates who crossed the Taba border in Egypt and the fifth group evacuated from Israel amid ongoing tensions in the region.
Upon arrival, the repatriates were warmly received by personnel from the DMW, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), and Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA).
The DMW said the returnees were immediately provided with financial and medical assistance, as well as transportation and temporary accommodation to support their return to their respective home provinces.
