World No. 1 pickleball star Anna Leigh Waters capped off her three day Philippine visit with a celebration of sports, wellness, and brand partnerships at Dusit Thani Manila, marking a memorable first trip to the country.
Presented by Franklin Sports and IAM Worldwide, the exclusive press luncheon brought together media representatives and industry leaders to welcome the 19 year old champion, who dominates women’s singles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles, with more than 200 PPA titles to her name.
Waters shared insights into her partnership with Franklin Sports, including her signature paddle and the latest equipment designed for competitive play. She also highlighted her role as IAM Worldwide’s Global Sports Ambassador, demonstrating her daily wellness routine with the brand’s Pure Organic Barley and Choco Barley, while introducing attendees to its Amazing Organic Barley Gummies.
Beyond her achievements on the court, Waters’ visit underscored the growing connection between athletic performance, healthy living, and community engagement. Both brands also expressed their commitment to supporting pickleball’s growth through local tournaments, youth clinics, and wider access to sports equipment.
While her Philippine debut has come to a close, fans will have another chance to see the pickleball sensation in action. Waters announced that she will return to Manila on December 9, 2026, for the IAM Worldwide Pickleball Showdown at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, featuring some of the country’s biggest celebrities and performers.
From champion level competition to everyday wellness, Waters’ Manila visit brought together two passions that continue to inspire a growing community of sports and healthy-lifestyle enthusiasts.
