Angelica Lopez has officially begun her Miss Grand International 2026 journey after receiving the Philippine sash, marking her formal entry into the international pageant competition.
The Palawan beauty earned the right to represent the Philippines after winning the top crown at the inaugural Reina Filipinas 2026. She will now carry the Philippine colors as Miss Grand International Philippines 2026 as she competes alongside delegates from around the world.
Sharing the milestone on Instagram, Lopez expressed her determination to represent the country on the international stage.
“Officially sashed. 🇵🇭 The sash is on, and the mission begins 🫡," Lopez wrote on her instagram post.
"Pilipinas, laban natin ’to! ❤️✨,” she added.
Her sash ceremony came after an early achievement in the competition, as Lopez secured a spot in the Top 10 of the Pre-Arrival Voting.
The recognition earned her an invitation to an exclusive dinner with Miss Grand International founder Nawat Itsaragrisil, Teresa Chaivisut, and reigning Miss Grand International Emma Tiglao.
Lopez’s early placement has given her campaign added momentum as she begins the series of activities leading to the pageant’s culminating events.
For the Filipina beauty queen, receiving the sash signifies more than another milestone in her pageant career. It also represents the responsibility of carrying the Philippines’ name and colors on an international platform.
The competition will intensify in October, with the National Costume and Preliminary Competition set for October 7, followed by the Miss Grand International 2026 Grand Finals on October 10.
With her Philippine sash officially in place and an early Top 10 finish in the pre-arrival voting secured, Lopez now sets her sights on the Miss Grand International 2026 crown.
