Miss Grand Philippines Angelica Lopez showcased her signature pasarela skills during the much-awaited swimsuit competition of the Miss Grand International 2026 pageant in Bangkok, Thailand, on September 29.
Wearing a yellow two-piece string bikini, Lopez confidently took on the runway at the roofdeck of Lebua State Tower, a venue also remembered for Samantha Bernardo’s standout pasarela performance at the 2020 competition.
Lopez was among 76 delegates who presented themselves against the backdrop of Bangkok’s skyline, with contestants wearing pink, orange, and yellow swimsuits.
Reigning Miss Grand International Emma Tiglao opened the presentation before the delegates joined a high-energy dance number wearing swimsuits and Jojo Bragais’ latest “Emma” shoes.
A pre-final swimsuit competition is scheduled during the preliminary event on October 7, while the grand final will take place on October 10 in Bangkok.
Lopez is aiming to continue the Philippines’ winning streak and potentially succeed Tiglao, who became the second Filipina to win the Miss Grand International crown after Christine Juliane “CJ” Opiaza.
