The northeast monsoon, or Amihan, is expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over parts of Luzon on Monday, November 2, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA said the northeast monsoon is affecting Extreme Northern Luzon.
The weather bureau said the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and Cagayan Valley will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA warned that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
For coastal and sea conditions, light to moderate winds blowing from the northeast to east will prevail across the country, with slight to moderate coastal waters ranging from 0.6 to 2.5 meters.
