The northeast monsoon, or amihan, is affecting parts of Northern Luzon on Thursday, March 19, according to PAGASA.

In its 4 a.m. weather forecast, PAGASA said cloudy skies with light rains may be experienced in the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, and Aurora due to the northeast monsoon.

The Ilocos Region and Batanes will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains, also due to the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies due to localized thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, no Low Pressure Areas (LPA) are being monitored for tropical cyclone formation.
