

P-pop kings SB19 made a golden sweep at the inaugural Filipino Music Awards (FMA), taking home six trophies!
Held on Tuesday, October 21, the P-pop powerhouse group reigned on, taking home awards for: Artist of the Year, People’s Choice Awards: Artist, the Tour of the Year and Concert of the Year for their Simula at Wakas World Tour, and Pop Song of the Year and People’s Choice Awards Song for their hit song, “DUNGKA!”
The five-piece group, composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin, celebrated the evening with a performance of “DAM” and “Kapangyarihan” with Ben&Ben.
In a social media post, the group thanked A’TIN and their supporters, stating they are the ones behind their success.
“Thanks to all of you, we won a total of six awards from the Filipino Music Awards this year,” SB19 captioned its post.

However, SB19 was not the only one who snagged an award, as Baguio-based pop rock band, Cup of Joe, took home the Song of the Year for their chart-topping song, “Multo.” The band also won Album of the Year for their debut album, “Silakbo.”
The first-ever edition of the DMA was held at the Mall of Asia Arena on Tuesday evening, gathering numerous artists from across genres and generations.
