Pageant veterans Alexie Caimoso Brooks of Iloilo City and Anne Patricia Diaz of Manila made history after being crowned the first-ever Reina Filipinas MGI All Stars 2026 titleholders during the inaugural Reina Filipinas grand coronation night held Friday, August 7, at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.
The two queens will represent the Philippines in the second edition of MGI All Stars, becoming the country's inaugural representatives under the newly launched Reina Filipinas organization.
Brooks delivered one of the strongest performances of the evening, dominating the competition with her commanding stage presence and polished runway skills. She captured the Best in Evening Gown award after earning a perfect score from the judges and also received the Best Seller and Reina Kserene special awards.
During the final question-and-answer round, Brooks reflected on her personal journey and the transformative power of the pageant, saying Reina Filipinas has the ability to redefine conventional beauty standards.
"Someone who is as broken as a glass can rise as beautiful as a flower," Brooks said, emphasizing that the platform empowers women to overcome challenges and embrace their worth.
Brooks boasts an impressive pageant résumé. She first competed in Miss Universe Philippines 2024, where she earned the Miss Eco Philippines 2024 title, giving her the opportunity to represent the country at Miss Eco International 2025. She went on to win the international crown, becoming one of the few Filipinas to capture the prestigious Miss Eco International title before joining Reina Filipinas.
Meanwhile, Diaz completed the historic pair of MGI All Stars titleholders as the competition's sole transgender contestant, proudly championing inclusivity and representation throughout her Reina Filipinas journey.
Before joining Reina Filipinas, Diaz was crowned Miss International Queen Philippines 2025, which earned her the right to compete at Miss International Queen 2025 in Thailand, where she finished as a Top 6 finalist. Beyond the pageant stage, Diaz also made a name for herself in Philippine television after winning It's Showtime's Miss Q&A Multibeks Season 3 and previously competing in Eat Bulaga's Super Sireyna, further establishing herself as one of the country's most recognizable transgender personalities.
In her final answer, Diaz underscored the organization's commitment to equality and opportunity.
"Reina Filipinas has consistently highlighted equality and inclusivity," she said, adding that its dedication to giving opportunities to all women is what makes "Reina Filipinas number 1" in her eyes.
The inaugural coronation also crowned Angelica Lopez of Palawan as Reina Filipinas Grand International 2026, earning the right to represent the Philippines at Miss Grand International 2026. Lopez bested 20 other candidates after an impressive performance throughout the competition, which included winning Best in Swimsuit, Reina Pasarela, and Reina Urban Smiles.

A total of 21 delegates competed in the pageant's maiden edition, with winners determined through a combination of judges' scores and public votes. The distinguished judging panel included internationally renowned Filipino designer Michael Cinco, Miss Grand International 2024 CJ Opiaza, inaugural MGI All Stars winner Vanessa Pulgarin of Colombia, and first runner-up Nguyen Huong Giang of Vietnam.
With their historic victories, Brooks and Diaz are now set to carry the Philippine flag at the upcoming MGI All Stars, aiming to build on the country's strong performances in the international competition while ushering in a new chapter for Reina Filipinas.
