Actress and television host Alex Gonzaga has officially entered motherhood after welcoming her first child with husband Mikee Morada.
Based on reports, Gonzaga’s mother, Pinty Gonzaga, confirmed the birth and revealed that the couple’s firstborn is a baby boy.
Pinty also clarified that reports claiming Gonzaga had given birth to twins were not true, confirming that the actress and Morada welcomed one child.
The news came after Gonzaga shared a series of maternity photos on Tuesday, August 25, accompanied by an emotional message that appeared to hint that she had already given birth.
“I’ll miss carrying you inside my tummy, my baby. It was like having our own little world,” Gonzaga wrote, followed by crying and white-heart emojis. She also expressed her gratitude, saying, “Thank You Jesus!”
The post prompted speculation among fans that Gonzaga had already welcomed her baby.
Her shapewear brand later appeared to confirm the development through a congratulatory social media post on Thursday, August 27.
“This just in. Our Sizzies family just got bigger!” the brand wrote, extending its “biggest, most heartfelt congratulations” to Gonzaga, whom it referred to as its “OG Sizzie.”
The congratulatory post featured a photo of Gonzaga and Morada from their maternity shoot. Gonzaga has yet to make a separate official announcement about the birth, although she reportedly liked the brand’s post.
Gonzaga and Morada, who married in 2020, have largely kept details of their pregnancy journey private. The arrival of their first child marks a new chapter for the couple as they begin their journey as parents.
