Members of Akbayan Youth conducted a poster campaign declaring Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa as “wanted,” distributing the materials along Kalayaan Avenue and inside a public market in Quezon City on Monday, May 18.
The group placed posters on utility poles along Meralco posts in Kalayaan Avenue before proceeding into the market area, where similar materials were handed out to the public.
According to Akbayan Youth National Vice Chairperson Claire Lopez, the campaign was launched following recent developments in the Senate, including the senator’s sudden appearance during leadership changes and his subsequent absence amid a reported security incident inside the chamber.
The group called for public participation in what they described as a “people’s manhunt,” urging citizens to help locate the senator and bring him to face accountability.
Akbayan Youth said the campaign will be expanded nationwide until the senator voluntarily surrenders, framing the initiative as a broader call for truth and accountability related to alleged extrajudicial killings (EJK) concerns and Senate-related controversies.
