Olympic bronze medalist Aira Villegas and young weightlifter Albert Ian Delos Santos have been named flag-bearers for the Philippines at the opening ceremony of the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.

The Asian Games officially begin on Sept. 19. The continental multi-sport competition will run through Oct. 4, 2026.
