The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the U.S. Pacific Command have agreed on a plan of military engagements for 2027 aimed at strengthening interoperability between their forces and advancing maritime security.

The two sides signed the 2027 plan of activities of the Mutual Defense Board-Security Engagement Board (MDB-SEB), which outlines bilateral activities focused on enhancing cooperation and advancing the shared security interests of the Philippines and the United States.
