Dancer and actress AC Bonifacio has confirmed that she and actor Harvey Bautista have ended their relationship, describing the breakup as ‘very hard.’

On the March 20 episode of the "Painfully Human Podcast" hosted by Edward Barber, Bonifacio candidly discussed her past experiences in love, including her breakup with Bautista.

In the conversation, Bonifacio openly admitted that she is currently single. “Is there a time when you are not dating? Hmm… now,” she said with a laugh. “That is the first time I’m saying that anywhere.”

She also described her past relationship as “traumatizing,” which led her to take a break from dating.

“I came from a very traumatizing relationship… I don’t trust any man,” she said.

When Barber asked for clarification, Bonifacio confirmed, “Yes,” that she and Bautista were no longer together.

She recounted a difficult conversation over the phone during their breakup, saying, “I was crying the whole time.”

Barber praised Bonifacio’s maturity in handling the situation. “I’m proud of you… It was because of the maturity of how you handled making your own decisions,” he said.

Bonifacio and Bautista publicly confirmed their relationship in April 2025.

The actor was known for supporting Bonifacio during her stint on Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition and defending her against online criticism.

Their relationship previously faced public scrutiny after reports suggested Bautista felt “jealous” of Bonifacio’s connection with fellow housemate and actor Michael Sager. However, Bonifacio shared that they had strengthened their bond after talking things through, with Bautista acknowledging that he had been “overacting.”
