The colorful community of monsters, birds, grouches, and humans is getting a new neighbor!
“Sesame Street,” the most-watched children’s program, announced on Monday that its new and library episodes will be streaming on Netflix worldwide and PBS KIDS in the United States (US).
“We are excited to announce that new Sesame Street episodes are coming to Netflix worldwide and PBS KIDS in the US,” its statement read.
“The support of Netflix, PBS, and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting serve as a unique public-private partnership to enable Sesame Street to continue to help children everywhere grow smarter, stronger, and kinder,” it added.

New episodes of “Sesame Street” will be released on the same day on PBS Stations and PBS KIDS platforms in the United States. Their post noted that this decision preserves an over 50-year relationship.
Meanwhile, our fluffy crew also took the announcement to YouTube, featuring Cookie Monster, mistaking the Netflix logo for cookies.
The move comes after U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order to cut federal funding for NPR and PBS, two of the country’s broadcasters that rely partially on government financial support.
