A magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck Cagwait, Surigao del Sur on Saturday night, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).

In its bulletin, PHIVOLCS said the tectonic-origin quake occurred at 10:32 p.m. at a depth of 24 kilometers.

• Intensity II – Alangalang, Baybay City, Dulag, Javier, and Palo, Leyte; Catbalogan City, Samar; Sogod, Southern Leyte; Libona, Bukidnon; Gingoog City and Initao, Misamis Oriental; Surigao City, Surigao del Norte
