

Around 8,000 runners participated in the One Piece Run 2025 on Sunday at SM City Fairview, where streets were transformed into an anime-themed course inspired by the popular series.

John Christian Balonso won the 10K men’s division with a time of 39:28, while Maria Rozy Zepeda topped the women’s division in 50:04. John Paul Enriquez (41:39) and Cedric Joshua Parcellano (43:13) finished second and third in the men’s division, while Marjorie Braza (51:52) and Jyra Lahay Lahay (58:27) completed the top three in the women’s division.
In the 5K race, Mark Angelo Biagtan ruled the men’s category with 17:49, followed by Joruss Delgado (18:24) and Joeross Simangan (18:57). Jo Punay (22:42) led the women’s division, with Jamie Del Rosario (27:45) and Hannah Dacanay (27:50) placing second and third.
Cavin Vidal topped the 3K men’s division in 10:53, followed by Zed Icarus Balanday (12:51) and Lyndon Gatasi (13:02). In the women’s division, Rochelle Nina Pingol (18:35) finished first, ahead of Asti Nasayao (18:43) and Rachel Anne Balverde (18:50).
In the 1K run, Joseph Fontamillas (5:12) posted the best time in the men’s division, with Arjay Dela Cruz (5:17) and Ernie Vie Estoque (6:46) following. Among women, Ayra Jerica Acosta (7:05) took first place, followed by Francesca Dominique Apolinario (7:09) and Tiara Jerisse Medina (7:17).
