A majority of Filipinos, or 69 percent, favor the conduct of an impeachment trial against Vice President Sara Duterte, according to the latest nationwide survey by OCTA Research.

Meanwhile, 28 percent oppose it, while 3 percent said they do not know or have no opinion.

The findings came from OCTA’s “Tugon ng Masa” survey conducted from March 19 to 25, 2026, using face-to-face interviews with 1,200 respondents aged 18 and above across the country.

OCTA said the survey was non-commissioned and released as a public service to gauge public sentiment on the impeachment issue involving the vice president.

The poll has a margin of error of ±3 percent at the national level with a 95 percent confidence level, and ±6 percent for subnational areas, including Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

According to OCTA, the Tugon ng Masa survey is conducted regularly and independently, and is not commissioned by any group or individual.
