

Six minors were arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 14-year-old boy in Intramuros, Manila, on Saturday evening, as reported by Boy Gonzales.
According to the Manila Police District – Ermita Police Station, the incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. on A. Soriano Street, Barangay 656. The victim, identified by the alias “Val,” is a resident of Parola, Tondo.
A follow-up investigation by operatives of the Intramuros Police Community Precinct led to the tracking and arrest of the six minors allegedly involved in the incident.
The victim was immediately brought to the Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center for treatment. A medico-legal examination revealed that he sustained a minor stab wound requiring treatment for less than nine days. He was later released from the hospital.
The victim’s parents stated that they no longer wish to press charges against the minors and instead signed an affidavit of desistance.
As a result, the case was referred to the Barangay Justice System for possible mediation and settlement. Meanwhile, the minors will be placed under the custody of the Manila Department of Social Welfare and Development in accordance with the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act.
The police continue to monitor the situation to ensure the proper resolution of the incident.
