Vice President Sara Duterte recorded a good +31 net satisfaction rating in the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey, with 58% of Filipinos satisfied and 26% dissatisfied with her performance in June 2026.
The Second Quarter 2026 Social Weather Survey, conducted from June 20 to 29, 2026, showed that Duterte’s net satisfaction rating increased by two points from +29 in March 2026 to +31 in June 2026. The rating is based on the difference between the percentage of respondents satisfied and those dissatisfied with her performance.
The increase was attributed to gains in Balance Luzon and Mindanao, despite a decline in Metro Manila, while the Visayas remained unchanged.
Duterte’s net satisfaction rating was highest in Mindanao at an excellent +84, followed by the Visayas at good +36, Balance Luzon at moderate +10, and Metro Manila at neutral +3.
The survey also showed differences across demographic groups. Duterte’s net satisfaction rating among women increased from +28 to +33, moving from moderate to good, while her rating among men remained unchanged at +29.
By age group, Duterte’s rating improved among younger and middle-aged respondents. Among those aged 18 to 24, her net satisfaction rating remained good but rose by eight points from +33 to +41. It also remained good among those aged 35 to 44, increasing by seven points from +37 to +44.
Meanwhile, her rating among respondents aged 25 to 34 stayed good but declined by four points from +47 to +43, while the 45 to 54 age group remained moderate despite a five-point decrease from +25 to +20. Among those aged 55 and above, her rating improved from neutral -4 to +4.
The survey also measured the public’s satisfaction with other top government officials. Senate President Sherwin Gatchalian received a moderate +18 net satisfaction rating, with 45% satisfied and 27% dissatisfied.
Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III posted a neutral +8 rating, with 33% satisfied and 26% dissatisfied, while Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo recorded a moderate +10 rating, with 35% satisfied and 26% dissatisfied.
The SWS survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 1,200 adults aged 18 and above nationwide, with 300 respondents each from Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao. The survey has a margin of error of ±3% for national figures and ±6% for area estimates.
SWS said the survey items were non-commissioned, included on its own initiative, and released as part of its public service.
