The Filipino vocal powerhouse formerly known as 4th Impact has officially entered a new era, reintroducing themselves as 4Sisters.

The group—composed of sisters Almira, Irene, Mylene, and Celina Cercado—announced the change through a Facebook Reel, where they shared a more vulnerable side of their story and the emotional turning point that led them to rethink their path as performers.

In their message, the sisters opened up about reaching their “rock bottom” following the passing of their father, who had been their strongest source of inspiration.

"At the beginning of the year, we found ourselves in our rock bottom. We lost the biggest inspiration of our lives. Ang Papa Domeng namin. And simula nung nawala siya, parang nawala na kami ng pag-asa," the group said in the video.

From singing at local barangay events to representing the Philippines on international stages, including their run on The X Factor UK Season 12, where they finished in fifth place, the group reflected on how long and demanding their journey has been—and how it sometimes left them feeling they fell short of expectations.

In their announcement, the group emphasized that 4Sisters is not just a name change, but a shift in identity and purpose.

“This time, we want to take you with us, not just as performers, but as we truly are. Not just our wins, not just our losses. but our real life,” they said.

"Our laughter, our fights, our dramas, our dreams. We want to go back to where it all began," the group stated.

They added: “Four sisters who simply love to sing, and to create beautiful music together. Yes, no expectations, no pressure. We're just gonna move on for our family, and just pure love for music.”

The group also highlighted that this new era is centered on authenticity rather than perfection. They shared that their focus now is on creating music that reflects who they are as individuals, still growing and healing.

"Because this journey is not about being perfect. It's about being real," they said. "As we sing songs that matter to us and create music, that better show who we really are. Now, as 4Sisters."

Throughout their career, the group has performed under several names, including Cercado Sisters, Golayan Sisters, MICA, and 4th Power before becoming 4th Impact.

The group added in their caption that every name they had throughout the years, each of which "holds a chapter of our journey that we will always be grateful for."

“But beyond all of that, we’ve always just been sisters,” they said. "This is more than a rebrand. This is us finally showing our real lives beyond the stage."

The sisters also expressed gratitude to their longtime supporters, whom they affectionately call “Dreamers,” thanking them for staying through every era of their career.

“To our Dreamers, thank you for staying with us through every era. Your love means everything. And to those just discovering us, welcome—we hope you take this moment to get to know us, not just as performers, but as sisters,” 4thSISTERS said.

“This is our new beginning. This is our real story,” they added.
