Four people have died, while three others were rescued alive after a landslide buried houses in Riverside, Barangay Guisad Surong, Baguio City, on Sunday night, August 9.

According to the Baguio City Public Information Office, six individuals remain missing as search, rescue, and retrieval (SRR) operations continue. Among those still unaccounted for are children aged three and eight.

The number of people affected by the landslide, which buried three houses, has risen to 13, according to Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong.

As of 5:35 a.m. Monday, August 10, Baguio City Police Director P/Col. Ruel Tagel said seven of the 13 individuals had been extracted from the landslide area.

Three victims were rescued alive and brought to a hospital for medical observation, while four others were declared dead.
