The Northern Police District (NPD), under the leadership of PBGEN Christopher R. Dela Cruz, has intensified the strict enforcement of city ordinances across the CAMANAVA area as part of its continuing public safety and discipline drive aligned with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Safer Cities Program.
According to NPD, the initiative is being carried out through coordinated police operations aimed at ensuring compliance with local laws and maintaining peace and order in communities.
Based on monitoring data, 1,086 individuals were recorded for violations from April 7 to 8, followed by 763 from April 8 to 9, 895 from April 9 to 10, and 899 from April 10 to 11. This brings the total number of violators to 3,643 over the four-day period.
The NPD said the sustained enforcement reflects its continuing efforts to properly implement local ordinances and encourage responsible behavior in public spaces.
It added that the campaign is not solely punitive but also preventive, aimed at strengthening public discipline, reducing disorderly conduct, and supporting safer and more livable communities across Metro Manila.
