Three weather systems are expected to bring cloudy skies and rain to parts of the Philippines during the Undas period from October 30 to November 2, 2026, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
The weather systems include the Northeast Monsoon, or Amihan, the shear line, and the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), which may bring scattered rains and thunderstorms to various parts of the country.
On Friday, October 30, cloudy skies with light rains are expected over Batanes, Cagayan, Apayao, Abra, and Ilocos Norte due to the Northeast Monsoon.
Meanwhile, the shear line is forecast to bring scattered rains and possible thunderstorms over Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon.
The ITCZ, on the other hand, is expected to bring scattered rains and thunderstorms over Central Visayas, the Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Southern Leyte, Negros Oriental, and Siquijor.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms, particularly in the afternoon and evening.
PAGASA said rainy conditions are expected to persist in affected areas over the succeeding days as the three weather systems continue to influence the country.
Residents and those traveling during the Undas period are advised to monitor weather updates and remain alert for possible thunderstorms and sudden changes in weather conditions.
