The Department of Transportation (DOTr) announced on Tuesday, December 30, that three more EDSA Busway stations will begin construction in 2026: in Cubao, Magallanes, and the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX).
He also noted that the Kamuning Station will be inaugurated in the first quarter of 2026. The station is equipped with elevators and escalators to accommodate persons with disabilities (PWDs), senior citizens, and pregnant women.
The busway expansion is in line with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive to improve the busway’s time and motion, and to encourage Filipinos to use public transport.
