Two suspects allegedly peddling over ₱83,000 worth of gasoline and contraband were seized by authorities in Lavezares, Northern Samar, according to a Tuesday report.

In a report by Aksyon Radyo Catarman RH 34 Jayne Galit Bantayan, the suspects were captured in Barangay Barobaybay after police were tipped off by a resident.

Authorities also confiscated 54 containers of petroleum products, which were to be loaded onto a motorboat and shipped to Biri, Northern Samar to be sold.

The suspects were unable to present proper documents authorizing their possession and sale of petroleum products, and were thus found to be in violation of Presidential Decree 1865.
