Authorities have identified two suspects in the theft of technical equipment belonging to a media organization from its tent at the Senate compound parking area, with investigators believing the pair gained entry by cutting through the Senate's rear perimeter fence.

In an interview with DZRH News, Pasay City Police Chief Col. Joselito de Sesto said the suspects, who are believed to be live-in partners, have already been identified and are now the subject of a police manhunt, RH Jecelle Ricafort reported.

According to de Sesto, the stolen items included one flat-screen television, two HP printers, two folding long tables, one extension wire, three pocket Wi-Fi devices, and several other pieces of equipment.

Police also recovered a separate 50-inch television belonging to the media outlet outside the Senate compound. Investigators believe the suspects abandoned the television after finding it too heavy to carry.

During the investigation, authorities discovered that a portion of the rear steel perimeter fence behind the Senate compound had been cut using a saw, which investigators believe served as the suspects' entry and exit point.

The discovery suggests that the suspects were able to bypass the Senate's security measures by breaching the perimeter fence instead of passing through official access points.

Police are continuing their pursuit of the identified suspects and are conducting further investigation to recover the remaining stolen equipment and determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
