The Philippine Navy on Friday, April 12, honored the two pilots who died in the recent tragic trainer helicopter crash in Cavite City.
According to the Naval Public Affairs Office, arrival honours were rendered to LT. Jan Kyle Borres PN and ENS Izzah Leonah Taccad PN before they were laid to rest at the Libingan ng Mga Bayani in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

The wake of Borres and Taccad was held at the St. Peter Chapels in Kawit, Cavite, as per the report from RH Noche Cacas.

The two airmen died when the PN Robinson R22 trainer helicopter they were onboard crashed near a Cavite City public market on Thursday morning, April 11.
Borres and Taccad were rushed to nearby hospitals but were both declared dead on arrival.
Both the Philippine Navy and the Armed Forces of the Philippines mourned for the two pilots' death.
The Philippine Navy thanked the Borres and Taccad's service to the country and extended its condolences to their bereaved families.
