The Philippines deported on Wednesday night, Feb. 8 the remaining two suspects involved in the infamous robbery ring across Japan.

Tomonobu Saito and Yuki Watanabe, pointed to as the mastermind “Luffy” by the Japanese police, were sent back to Japan at 12:05 AM after the Pasay Regional Trial Court dismissed their pending cases in the country.

Watanabe and Saito have faced charges of Violence against Women and their Children in court.

"The two deportees stayed at the warden facility the entire day. They prepared for this day at the warden facility and we had a full team to ensure that they remain safe during their travel,” Immigration spokesperson Dana Sandoval said in a media conference.

On Tuesday night, the Philippine government deported Toshiya Fujita and Kiyoto Imamura to Japan.

Reports from the Japanese media said the suspected mastermind, Yuki Watanabe, known by his alias "Luffy" from the hugely popular manga 'One Piece,' allegedly directed the break-ins in Japan while detained at a Manila immigration facility using an encrypted messaging app.
