Two members of the New People's Army (NPA) were killed in an encounter with the government troops in Gloria, Oriental Mindoro on Monday night, Nov. 13.
According to the report by Eric Dastas during Rapido Hataw Balita on Tuesday, the Armed Forced of the Philippine's 76th Infantry Battaion conducted a strike operation in Brgy. Buong Lupa when they encountered the two rebels.

The fatalities were identified only by their aliases, "Rochie" and "Bondo", while another member named "Aiza" is now under the police's custody.
Lt. Gen. Rhoderick Armamento, Area Police Command-Southern Tagalog commander, said that police were deployed after they received reports of a clash between soldiers and unidentified numbers of terrorists.
Meanwhile, no casualties on the side of the government troops were reported.
