1.7 million worth of illegal drugs seized in Nabua, Camarines Sur

Around 1.7 million worth of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, or “shabu,” was confiscated by Philippine National Police (PNP) Bicol in a buy-bust operation in Nabua, Camarines Sur, on Thursday, July 31.
The 26 year-old suspected drug pusher in Barangay Santa Elena, named alias “Otoy,” was arrested past 5 a.m. Authorities confiscated a two plastic sachet of illegal drugs weighing 250 grams.
Otoy is now in the custody of Nabua Municipal Police Station and expected to be charged with a criminal case of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
The Police Brigadier, General Nestor Babagay Jr, praised the PNP Bicol for the success of the operation against illegal drugs in the region.
