A total of 16 individuals were arrested in separate anti-drug operations conducted by the Bulacan Police Provincial Office (PPO) on May 13, 2026, resulting in the seizure of suspected shabu valued at over ₱933,000, authorities said.

Based on reports from Camp General Alejo S. Santos in Malolos, police carried out a series of buy-bust operations across multiple towns, leading to the arrest of both high-value and street-level targets.

In Santa Maria, police arrested two suspects identified as “Payo,” 29, and “Michelle,” 28, both residents of Marilao, Bulacan. Authorities said the suspects were tagged as High Value Individuals after they allegedly sold illegal drugs to undercover operatives during a buy-bust operation around 3:05 p.m. in Barangay Camangyanan.

Confiscated from the suspects were approximately 55 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of ₱374,000, marked money, and several heat-sealed sachets containing suspected illegal drugs.

In a separate operation in Marilao at around 4:50 p.m., another suspect identified as “Yana,” 28, was arrested after allegedly selling shabu to police operatives. Recovered from her possession were about 50 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱340,000, multiple sachets of the illegal substance, and buy-bust money used in the operation.

Meanwhile, 13 additional suspects were arrested in coordinated operations conducted by police stations in Meycauayan, Norzagaray, San Miguel, San Jose del Monte, San Ildefonso, Calumpit, and Obando. Authorities said these operations led to the seizure of 46 sachets of suspected shabu worth approximately ₱219,844.

All arrested individuals are now in police custody and will face charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Bulacan PPO officials said the intensified anti-drug campaign aims to curb the spread of illegal drugs and maintain peace and order across the province.
