A 14-year-old suffered bruises, scrapes, and a wound on the head after he was allegedly ganged up on in a Manaoag, Pangasinan public school, according to a report on Wednesday.

Manaoag Chief of Police PMaj. Arnel Tamayo said the victim, accompanied by his mother, appeared at the police station to report the incident, reported RH 35 Freddie Fajardo of Aksyon Radyo Pangasinan.

The student’s parents had already raised the matter to the school administration, but felt that their response was insufficient to fully resolve the issue.

The police launched an investigation into the incident, although school staff have refused to speak to them about the incident.
