A total of 129 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their family members safely returned to the Philippines on Thursday night, April 30, 2026, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) reported.

According to DMW, the group, composed of 93 OFWs and 36 accompanying relatives, arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Manila at around 9 p.m. via Emirates Flight EK334 from Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Prior to their return, the Migrant Workers Office in Dubai facilitated their processing to ensure an orderly and safe repatriation.

Upon arrival, the returning Filipinos were met by officials from the DMW, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

DMW said the government provided immediate assistance, including financial aid, food, medical check-ups, temporary accommodation, and transportation support. Arrangements were also made to help the returnees travel to their respective provinces through domestic flights and land transport assistance.

Some of the repatriated individuals have already returned home, while others were provided temporary shelter as they awaited onward travel.

Authorities said the assistance is part of the Marcos administration’s directive to ensure prompt and humane support for Filipinos in distress overseas.
