Pasay City police arrested a newly identified high-value individual (HVI) and seized about 12 kilograms of suspected shabu worth an estimated ₱81.6 million during an intelligence-driven operation late Tuesday night.
The operation was carried out around 11:00 p.m. on January 13, 2026, along Seaside Boulevard in Barangay 76, Pasay City. Operatives from Sub-Station 10 (MOA) of the Pasay City Police Station acted on validated intelligence information relayed by PDEG-SOU 3 through a confidential informant regarding an alleged drug delivery.
Police said a woman matching the informant’s description was positively identified in the area and lawfully accosted by the operatives under the supervision of Pasay City Police Chief PCOL Joselito M. De Sesto. Two green eco-bags were seen in plain view in the suspect’s possession.
Inspection of the bags led to the discovery of six large heat-sealed vacuum packs containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu. Each pack weighed about two kilograms, totaling 12 kilograms of illegal drugs.
The suspect, identified by the alias “Farhanie,” 26, was immediately arrested and informed of her constitutional rights. Marking, inventory, and photographing of the seized items were conducted at the arrest site in accordance with Republic Act 9165, witnessed by a barangay official and a media representative.
The suspect and seized evidence were brought to the police station for documentation and later referred to the Station Drug Enforcement Unit for investigation. The Southern Police District confirmed the seized drugs will undergo laboratory examination, while the case is set for inquest proceedings before the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office.
