

Eleven minors were rescued by the Manila Social Welfare Department (MSWD) during an overnight operation conducted by authorities amid the Simbang Gabi festivities.
According to a report by Boy Gonzales, MSWD Director Jay Reyes Dela Fuente said that the rescued minors were found in possession of knives and pillboxes during the authorities’ inspection. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
After the operation, the minors were brought to Boys Town for temporary care, counseling, and other interventions provided by the MSWD.
The minors' parents or guardians were immediately informed of the situation.
Authorities continue to investigate the case while intensifying measures to ensure public safety and the welfare of the minors involved.
