“Joker: Folie à Deux” drops the first trailer for the hit “Joker” sequel with the fiery romance between Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn.
“He's not alone anymore,” the film’s description states because the infamous Clown Prince of Crime meets his match.
The trailer opens with Phoenix’s character seeing Quinn before it flashes to a man saying: “We use music to make us whole. To balance the fractures within ourselves.”
The trailer dims to a light blue background with the two dancing under the moonlight as Burt Bacharach-Hal David “What the World Needs Now Is Love” plays.
But “Joker: Folie à Deux” offers a twist in their Joker’s romance with Quinn as the latter appears to be a patient instead of the character’s usual role as a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum.
The film is set to hit the theaters on October 4.
