It's the reunion every pageant fans have been waiting for!
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and her first runner-up Ariadna Gutierrez of Colombia have finally reunited after eight years in Paris, France during the Paris Fashion Week.
"The reunion you've all been waiting for," the 34-year-old beauty queen wrote in an Instagram post.
The Colombian model, likewise, echoed the statement on her Instagram story.
"When time makes sure you meet the right people once again," she said.
Their coronation in 2015 became one of the most legendary coronations in the history of Miss Universe.
Both Pia and Ariadna admitted in separate interviews that they haven't been in communication since the controversial crowning moment.
Gutierrez was mistakenly announced by TV host Steve Harvey as the winner of the international beauty pageant, but a few minutes later, he was made to retract his words and declared Wurtzbach to be that year’s Miss Universe.
Their reunion delighted not just pageant fans but also their fellow beauty queens, including then 2nd runner-up Olivia Jordan of the United States.
"Love to see it!!! Both of you are sheer PERFECTION!" Jordan wrote in the comments.
