The Philippines logged another 183 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, December 12, bringing the country's total COVID-19 cases to 4,127,769.

Based on the Department of Health's COVID-19 tracker, the active cases decreased by 63 to 3,813, for the 19th straight reporting day of more than 3,000 active cases.

The number of cases recovered increased by 246 to 4,057,177, but the death toll remained at 66,779.

The National Capital Region still holds the highest number of new cases with 1,210 in the previous 14 days, followed by Calabarzon with 457, Western Visayas with 323, Central Luzon with 217, and Central Visayas with 125.

In the last 14 days, Quezon City recorded the highest number of COVID-19 with 334 new cases. The City of Manila came in second with 154, Makati City with 145, Cavite province with 137, and Rizal province with 131.

The COVID-19 bed occupancy rate is 15.5%, with 2,895 beds occupied—including 1,881 in the ICU—and 15,722 unoccupied.
