MANILA – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Consular Office (CO) in Tuguegarao will open on Wednesday, 1 May 2024 to accommodate job seekers and workers from both public and private sectors, in line with the celebration of the 122nd Labor Day.
In its advisory on Monday, DFA CO Tuguegarao announced that operations will be ongoing to accommodate the first 200 applicants to avail of passport services on the said non-working holiday from 9am to 4pm.

In the same advisory, DFA CO Tuguegarao reminded the public of the guidelines for the courtesy lane accommodation, as listed below:
· Job seekers as well as workers from both public and private sectors will be accommodated.
· Minor children (17 years old and below) of the job seekers and workers may also be accommodated.
· Only the first 200 applicants will be accommodated.
· Applicants with incomplete requirements are given until 31 May 2024 to comply.
· Application Fees: Cash payment only
Expedited Passport Fee: Php 1,200.00
Courier (optional): Php 150.00)
DFA CO Tuguegarao stressed that the courtesy lane privileges do not guarantee approval of the passport application as all applicants “will be processed with the existing laws, rules and regulations of passport processing.”
